(BTS), was recognized at the Building Controls Industry Awards 2010 as the, “Independent Installer of the Year,” and a finalist in the Energy Management Award. The event was held on May 13th, 2010 at The Hilton Hotel in Coventry, UK and was deemed a tremendous success by the 220+ guests that attended the event. BTS was a finalist for the, “Energy Management Award” that recognizes the positive contribution that a building management system provides to the energy efficiency of a building. BTS submitted their Ashburton Court project for consideration for this award as it is a prime example of using BACnet and building automation technologies to radically improve energy efficiency.
